As members, we mutually commit to root ourselves in Jesus, center the work of justice in our lives, and build the kind of radically inclusive community we call the Kingdom of God.
What COMMITMENTS DO WE MAKE TO EACH OTHER AS MEMBERS?
We commit to one another relationally, spiritually, and materially.
Regularly attend worship and/or community events
Make a financial commitment according to our ability
Offer volunteer time
We commit to deepening our relationship with Jesus.
Take responsibility for our individual and collective spiritual development
Incorporate our faith practices beyond Sunday worship or Zao events
We honor and shape Zao’s processes and community agreements.
Follow Zao’s grievance process
Understand leadership structures and pathways
If leaving the community, do so intentionally and well
We build a healthy culture based on our shared values.
Show up to the space as representatives of what Zao stands for
Be invested in the flourishing of other community members

Zao 201
This class will be led by Pastor Jonah, and will provide an overview of some of the core theological frameworks and ideas that form our understanding of God, ourselves, and our community.

Zao 301
This class will be led by members of Zao's Vision Team, and will focus on the commitments of membership and the structure and culture of our community.

This class will be led by Pastor Jonah, and will focus on how we live out our theological beliefs through spiritual practices and formation.
